What does a medium do?

A medium is simply a psychic telephone exchange. They have learned to tune into different frequencies used by the spirit world in order to bring through that all important evidence that your loved ones are alive and well. It is the bond of love your family in spirit have for you that links them to you during a sitting or a public demonstration.

How does the spirit world communicate?

The spirit world use a number of different ways to get their information across to a medium. They use all or some of these to 'talk' to us. You will have heard of the word clairvoyance I am sure. All it means is 'clear seeing'. Therefore a medium will see the person and be able to give you a visual description of the person they have with them. Clairaudience means clear hearing. The spirit people will communicate using the medium's physical ears and they hear their voices as clearly as they hear yours. Clairsentience means clear feelings. Information is gathered from the spirit world using feelings alone. Even if the medium cannot see the person they are communicating with they will feel them. They will feel the personality, the physical size of the person and what they are communicating to their loved ones at the sitting.

As I have said, all or some of these senses are used by the spirit world to bring their words of love and support to us here in the physical world. Mediums have a unique blend of all of them when working. Some mediums are primarily one or the other so can be very clairvoyant or clairsentient when working. However, I also know the spirit world will spring the odd surprise and choose how best they wish to say 'hi'.
Very often the spirit person will blend their thoughts with the mind of the medium. The medium will simply 'just know' the information as it flows through their mind and they then can pass on the information to their client.

This is just my understanding of how spirit works with me. Other's may well have different thoughts and ideas on the subject and I love discussing the different ways of working and understanding people have. I have so much left to learn about the spirit world and life in general and I embrace all of it. I love being a medium and could not imagine life without this work.
